Healthcare AI Agents

Intake and scheduling agents that keep patient data private.

A short call to see if this is a fit. No pressure, no slides.

Use cases

Patient intake

An agent collects patient details, asks the right follow-up questions, and hands a clean, structured record to your staff. Data stays inside your network when the design calls for it.

Scheduling and reminders

An agent matches requests to open slots, confirms appointments, and sends reminders, cutting the phone tag and the no-shows.

Document intake and summaries

Referrals and prior records arrive as PDFs and faxes. An agent reads them, pulls the key facts, and writes a summary for the clinician to review.

Care-team email triage

Routine inbound messages get sorted and summarized so the team sees what needs a human first.

Where AI fits in healthcare

The wins in healthcare are in the front office and the paperwork: intake, scheduling, and reading documents. An agent can do the gathering and the first pass while clinicians keep the judgment.

The hard constraint is privacy. So the design starts there.

Keeping data private

For most clinical data, we run open-weight models on hardware you control, so nothing is sent to a public model. When an agent needs to answer from your own records, we use private RAG with citations, so staff can verify every answer against the source.

We design with HIPAA in mind and work alongside your compliance team. We do not pretend code alone makes you compliant.

How we deliver

Start with a short readiness audit to pick the safest, highest-value first workflow. From there it is usually AI agent development for intake and scheduling. Our guide on building a first agent shows the method.

Honest cost note

On-prem and private design costs more than a hosted setup. For patient data that is the right trade. For non-clinical admin tasks with no protected data, a hosted model may be fine and cheaper, and we will say so.

Frequently asked questions

Is this HIPAA compliant?

We design with HIPAA in mind: data stays in your network, access is logged, and high-stakes steps need a human. Compliance is a shared responsibility, so we work with your compliance team and your hosting setup. We do not claim a blanket certification, because compliance depends on your full environment, not just our code.

Can the agent run without a public model?

Yes. We can run open-weight models on your own hardware so patient data never leaves your network. This is the right call for most clinical data.
